September 7, 2013, ORLANDO, FL – Melanie Nathan, renown blogger, advocate, journalist and advocacy attorney will be the keynote speaker at the One Pride Network Black Tie Dinner Gala to be held at the Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
Melanie Nathan, Publisher and Editor, for the advocacy blog “o-blog-dee-o-blog-da” was born in South Africa and currently resides in the California Bay Area. She began her career as an attorney practicing in South Africa during the Apartheid era. In 2009 she began publishing her BLOG which has evolved into a renowned BLOG, consisting mostly of unique content, on subjects ranging from US politics and equality to the decriminalization of homosexuality, LGBTQI asylum, sexuality violence and all human rights issues around the globe, with a special focus on Africa.
Her keynote address as part of the launch dinner for One Pride Network will discuss her advocacy work both in the US and across the globe and her focus on practicing “Political Power through Consumer Spending”.
The Black Tie Gala Dinner is part of the launch weekend for One Pride Network, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza located at 304 W. Colonial Dr., Orlando, Florida.
One Pride Network, is an Orlando-based organization whose mission is to connect consumer spending with their unique community to support and empower its members.
