Julie McDaniel grew up in the Florida Keys on an island dividing the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. She now lives in Orlando, Florida where her love of the adventurous outdoor life has influenced her photography, painting and travel writing.

Her photography includes destinations as far away as Alaska and the Yukon Territory and as close as her own back yard. She has a wide range of subject matter including both landscape and macro photography to give the viewer an opportunity to experience the photo as she did when it was taken. Many of the photos in her current work were taken while on assignment for her travel writing articles.

As an Artist, she infuses the vibrant colors she has seen as she's hiked, camped, fished and kayaked her way to numerous destinations. Inspiration always comes from nature and she loves to be able to share her experience and encourage you to visit the wild places she has been.

Her photos and paintings can be seen at numerous local businesses as well as many local art shows throughout Central Florida. She also encourages emerging artists to participate in her Pay It Forward Art Shows where she provides participation at no cost to the artist. This is her way of giving back to the community and giving an opportunity those talented artists that are struggling to get their work seen. By giving them this opportunity, as they become successful they will be more likely to Pay It Forward to other artist in the future.
